BIP-110 nears activation despite weak miner support

BIP-110, a user-activated soft fork restricting non-payment data on Bitcoin, approaches its Aug. 9 signalling point with under 3% miner support. Enforcing nodes will reject non-signaling blocks at block 961,632, with activation estimated at block 965,664. Some bitcoin-only exchanges plan temporary pauses around the window.
