X rebuilds Android app from scratch

X shipped a rebuilt Android app built from scratch on a clean Kotlin and Jetpack Compose stack after nearly a year of development. The update promises faster loading, smoother scrolling, and more reliable notifications. X head of product Nikita Bier called it one of the largest engineering projects in the company's history.
