Agentic AI drives blockchain demand

Franklin Templeton's Sandy Kaul said autonomous AI agents will increase demand for blockchain networks like Aptos, Solana, and BNB Chain for machine-to-machine micropayments. Legacy card networks are unsuitable due to high fees and slow settlement. Visa and Artemis also argued traditional cards cannot support agentic payments.
