U.K.-based healthcare billing software maker Craneware is responding to a cyberattack in which hackers stole a significant volume of customer data, including employee, customer, and partner records. The company has expelled the attackers and reported the incident to the FBI and the U.K. Information Commissioner's Office. Craneware's software is used by thousands of U.S. hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.
