BlackRock Files for Loss-Limiting Bitcoin ETF

BlackRock filed Monday with the SEC for the iShares Bitcoin Managed Protection ETF, ticker PBIT. This third Bitcoin ETF application builds on the $65 billion iShares Bitcoin Trust. It seeks to limit losses while allowing gains, following Calamos' fund which lost 1% since October 2025 after bitcoin tumbled 52% from its $126,000 peak.
