Anthropic restored Claude Fable 5 globally on July 1 and Claude Mythos 5 to approved U.S. organizations after the U.S. lifted export controls on June 30. The controls were imposed June 12 after an Amazon-discovered jailbreak let Fable 5 generate exploit code, prompting closer collaboration with U.S. agencies on model testing and threat sharing.
