The crypto industry will contribute $55 billion to the US economy in 2026 and support 232,000 jobs, according to research from the National Cryptocurrency Association, backed by Ripple Labs. About 34,000 people are directly employed by crypto companies, surpassing the coffee and tea manufacturing and aerospace industries. Texas, Washington, North Carolina, California, and New York lead in crypto employment.
