Tesla regains 50% US EV market share

Tesla captured 50.5% of US EV sales in Q2 2026, regaining majority share as its sales fell 13% year over year while non-Tesla EV sales dropped 27%. Rivian was the only high-volume brand to post a monthly sales increase in June, rising 8.3% from May. Overall Q2 EV sales declined 20.5% year over year.
