Microsoft extends free Windows 10 ESU to October 2027

Microsoft quietly extended its free Windows 10 Extended Security Updates program for consumers by an additional year, now providing security updates through October 12, 2027. The change appeared in updated documentation and an editor's note to a Windows Experience Blog post, giving customers more time to transition to Windows 11.
