Google developing Frozen v2 chip for Gemini

Google is developing a server chip codenamed Frozen v2 that etches part of the Gemini model's architecture into silicon. Engineers project the chip will deliver six to ten times more tokens per watt than the newest TPUs. Deployment is targeted for 2028.
