Head of US AI safety agency resigns

Chris Fall, director of the Center for AI Standards and Innovation (CAISI), has resigned three months after his appointment. No reason was given. CAISI, under NIST, develops AI technical standards and testing methods. Fall previously led the Department of Energy's Office of Science during the first Trump administration.
