Aseon Labs raises $10M for robotaxi service pods

Aseon Labs raised $10 million in seed funding led by Crane Venture Partners to build parking-space-sized automated pods that charge, clean, and inspect robotaxis. The Redwood City startup aims to cut deadhead miles, which an MIT study found account for roughly 44 percent of Waymo's California fleet miles.
