Claude Cowork usage data reveals knowledge work dominance

Anthropic analyzed 1.2 million Claude Cowork sessions from over 600,000 organizations. Business operations accounted for 33.4% of usage, content creation for 16.4%, while software development made up only 8.7%. Cowork recently expanded to web and mobile in beta for Claude Max subscribers, with cloud-based sessions now default.
