Patterns Hide Cars From Flock Cameras

Cybersecurity researcher Bill Swearingen of SIXCYBER built noRecognition, a reinforcement learning model that generates patterns hiding vehicles from Flock license plate readers. After 31 million tests, a wrapped 2009 Toyota Yaris defeated a live Flock camera at DEF CON, beating all 11 open-source detection algorithms tested.
