Monzo founder Tom Blomfield joins Anthropic compute team

Tom Blomfield, co-founder of Monzo and GoCardless, is taking a leave of absence from Y Combinator to join Anthropic as a member of technical staff on the compute team. He will work alongside Anthropic co-founder Tom Brown. Anthropic has committed to deploying up to a million Google TPUs and signed a cloud agreement with xAI for over 220,000 Nvidia GPUs.
