Qualcomm agrees to acquire AI startup Modular for around $4Bn

Qualcomm agreed to acquire AI software startup Modular in an all-stock deal worth about $3.9 billion. Qualcomm will issue up to 19.2 million shares to Modular's shareholders. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026 after regulatory and shareholder approvals.
