Nightmare Eclipse Drops Windows Zero-Day Exploit 'ShieldBreak'

Researcher Nightmare Eclipse published ShieldBreak, a Windows zero-day exploit abusing a Windows Defender flaw to escalate from low-level user to full system access. It works on Windows 10, Windows 11 including 25H2, and Windows Server 2025. Microsoft has not yet released a patch.
