Coldcard destroys inventory after $88M bitcoin theft

Coinkite destroyed its remaining Coldcard inventory after a firmware vulnerability let thieves steal at least 1,367.05 BTC, worth about $88.6 million, from 4,585 addresses. The Canadian company halted shipments, released patched firmware, and urged affected customers not to dispose of devices.
