Mozilla will switch Firefox on desktop and Android to a two-week release schedule starting in September, doubling the pace of security updates. The change begins with Firefox 155, arriving September 1 instead of September 15. Mozilla calls it an experiment, not a permanent commitment, and will evaluate the faster cadence before deciding on long-term adoption.
