Stripe acquires OpenRouter for over $7B

Stripe finalized a deal to acquire AI marketplace OpenRouter for more than $7 billion, less than three months after the startup raised $113 million at a $1.3 billion valuation. OpenRouter offers access to over 500 large language models and has more than 10 million users globally.
