Equal AI raises $30M for call screening app

Equal AI raised $30 million in a Series B led by Prosus Ventures and Tomales Bay Capital to screen phone calls in India. The Android app uses an AI agent to answer unknown calls, ask why someone is calling, and show a summary. It has over one million monthly active users.
