CATL unveils 8C battery for light commercial EVs

CATL unveiled the Tectrans II Superfast Charging Edition, an 8C battery for light commercial EVs that charges from 20 to 80 percent in 6 minutes and 48 seconds. The company plans 4,000 combined fast-charging and battery-swapping stations in around 190 Chinese cities by 2026. The battery offers a ten-year or one-million-kilometer warranty.
