Apple's first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Ultra, has entered mass production at Foxconn's Longhua factory in Shenzhen. Foxconn is hiring temporary workers at 22-26 yuan per hour to ramp up assembly. The first batch for China is estimated at just over 1 million units, with Ming-Chi Kuo projecting 500,000 to 1 million units shipped in Q3 2026.
