Waymo reveals custom 5nm robotaxi chip
Waymo detailed its sixth-generation autonomous driving module, powered by two custom 5nm ASICs delivering over 1,000 TOPS. The Alphabet unit operates about 4,000 vehicles in 11 U.S. cities and named AMD, Micron, Nvidia, Samsung, Sandisk, Socionext, and TSMC as suppliers.
