Google is open-sourcing its 3D emoji

Google open-sourced its Noto Emoji 3D set, releasing raw.OBJ files for all 3,977 characters. The company detailed its design process for World Emoji Day, including an AI-powered contrast tool for dark mode visibility. The 3D emoji first arrive on Pixel phones later this year, then across all Google products.
