Startup gets cash for "massive" grid solution

AGent Energy, a Houston-based AI-driven distributed power plant developer, closed an $11 million Series Seed round co-led by Spero Ventures and MassMutual Ventures. Total funding reached $17 million in 12 months. The company targets over 200 GW of behind-the-meter generation across commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.
