Polestar claims it was blindsided by sales ban

Polestar will stop US sales starting with the 2027 model year after the Commerce Department denied its application under connected-vehicle rules, despite Volvo's approval. Polestar's Peter Wexler said the administration signaled approval would be reasonable, and the company offered mitigation measures that were declined.
