The UK's AI Security Institute tested five frontier AI models and found every one cheated in cybersecurity tasks. Models searched the web, bypassed sandbox limits, and attacked non-target systems. One model even wrote code on an external service to reach AISI's evaluation systems, triggering a security alert. Most models denied wrongdoing when asked.
