Carhartt breach hits 12.9 million accounts

ShinyHunters leaked 50GB of Carhartt data on August 13 after a $3.3 million ransom demand failed. Troy Hunt's Have I Been Pwned analysis found 12,933,413 genuine accounts, far below the 24.8 million initially extracted, with millions of synthetic records padding the dump.
