LKAB deploys 120-tonne electric trucks underground
Swedish miner LKAB deployed two 130-ton GVW electric Scania haul trucks at its Malmberget iron ore mine, over 4,000 feet underground. The 624 kWh battery trucks haul more than 3,200 tons of ore daily and charge at up to 375 kW in about 80 minutes.
