Microsoft shares manual fix for WSUS sync delays

Microsoft released a manual fix for Windows Server Update Services servers affected by sync delays and timeouts caused by metadata buildup. The issue impacts Windows 10 version 1607 and later and Windows Server 2012 and later. A service-side mitigation was deployed July 19 for new installations, while existing servers require a cleanup query and database steps.
