Construction automation startup TerraFirma raises $115M

TerraFirma, a construction startup founded by two former SpaceX engineers, raised $115 million in funding led by Kleiner Perkins. The Austin-based company uses Xbox controllers to remotely operate heavy machinery, cutting costs and improving safety. It plans to hire 300 employees and build a Texas factory and mission control center.
