Spotify tests native song identification feature

Spotify is developing a built-in song identification tool, with code strings in version 9.1.70.1086 of its Android app referencing microphone access, listening, analyzing, and error handling. The feature would let users identify songs directly within Spotify, similar to Shazam. Evidence has only been found on Android so far.
