Microsoft analyzed a destructive Windows backdoor called GigaWiper that combines three older malware tools into one platform. It can wipe disks, run fake ransomware that never saves the decryption key, and spy via screenshots and hidden VNC sessions. The same malware was previously flagged as BLUERABBIT by Binary Defense, with matching hashes and command servers.
