Panasonic US battery production by fiscal 2028

Panasonic Holdings plans to mass produce battery cells for data centres at a Kansas plant by fiscal 2028, ending March 2029. The company will allocate about 350 billion yen of a 500 billion yen AI investment to its Energy unit. Panasonic Energy also plans a third plant in Mexico for fiscal 2028.
