Hackers remotely overrode refrigeration systems at dozens of supermarkets in Belgium and Sweden, raising temperatures to 55°C or 70°C. Delhaize faces 40 affected stores while Carrefour Belgium reports at least 15. Total losses are estimated in the millions of euros, following a similar large-scale attack on French stores in October. Belgian stores threw away an estimated €100,000 of food.
