Microsoft Drops Copilot+ PC Branding

Microsoft has stopped using the Copilot+ PC label on new Surface devices, Surface CVP Brett Ostrom confirmed at Qualcomm's Snapdragon Summit 2026. The branding, launched in 2024 to flag PCs with dedicated AI hardware, is now absent from the 12-inch Surface Pro and 13-inch Surface Laptop. Qualcomm's Kedar Kondap expects other PCs to follow.
