OpenAI Adds Optional Watermarks to ChatGPT

OpenAI adds optional textGrain watermarks to EU ChatGPT users to satisfy the AI Act, while keeping the feature optional for global API customers. The company plans to release the detection technology as open source and restrict initial detector access to selected researchers and specialist organizations.
