DeepSeek Raises 15 Billion for AI

Chinese AI startup DeepSeek raised approximately 100 billion yuan, or about 15 billion, in its latest round. The Hangzhou-based firm increased its financing target from 50 billion yuan to 80 billion yuan before securing the final amount from major contributors CATL and Tencent Holdings Ltd.
