FlyDubai Pilot Stabbed Mid-Flight, Plane Lands Safely

A FlyDubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv plunged after a co-pilot stabbed Captain Smit Machchhar on Wednesday. Passengers and off-duty pilots subdued the attacker using headphone cords and zip ties. The Boeing 737 MAX, carrying over 170 people, descended from 33,000 to 17,000 feet in about a minute and landed safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Both pilots were hospitalized.
