E Ink Unveils Kaleido 4 Color E-Paper

E Ink announced the Kaleido 4 display today, debuting in a Hanvon Technology tablet launching in China. The technology doubles color gamut volume to over 40,000 colors, increases white reflectance by 15 percent, and boosts contrast by 50 percent. Refresh rates reach up to 18fps, enabling video playback on the device.
