Court Upholds Pentagon Anthropic Risk Label

A federal appeals court in Washington ruled 2-1 on Friday to let the Pentagon keep its supply-chain risk designation on Anthropic, blocking Claude from military systems. The court found ample support for the national-security conclusion. Anthropic may appeal further. The designation, tied to Anthropic's refusal to allow autonomous weapons or domestic surveillance, remains in place indefinitely.
