Elon Musk pressed the Indian government Thursday for a Starlink license, accusing unnamed oligarchs of blocking the US-headquartered satellite internet provider. The communications ministry rejected these claims, stating Bharti Group-led Eutelsat Oneweb, Mukesh Ambani-owned Jio Satellite, and Starlink are at the same regulatory stage awaiting security approvals before spectrum assignment. Security assessments are currently underway for all three entities.
