Oracle Cites Force Majeure on New Mexico AI Data Centre

Oracle sent a force majeure notice to developer Blue Owl Capital over Project Jupiter, a New Mexico AI data centre for OpenAI's Stargate programme, after the state rejected pipeline rights-of-way in March and July. Oracle wants to delay payments if the campus misses its 2028 opening. The project could cost up to $165bn. Oracle shares fell over 3%.
