DoJ Charges Oxygen Forensics CEO Over Russian Ties

The US Department of Justice arrested Oxygen Forensics CEO Lee Reiber and CTO Oleg Davydov, charging them with wire fraud for allegedly hiding Russian ownership while selling digital forensics software to the Department of War and DHS. Prosecutors say the same Russian operation supplied the FSB. Reiber was arrested in Idaho; Davydov at Heathrow. NCFI awarded Oxygen a five-year contract in September 2024. Up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
