Capcom has released a trailer for the Resident Evil: Code Veronica remake set for 2027. The game follows Claire Redfield as she infiltrates an Umbrella facility and learns about the T-Virus Veronica. Players switch to controlling Chris Redfield midway through the game. The trailer reveals no gameplay but shows Claire guided by an older European woman to a ransacked room.

Capcom announced a remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica, set to release in 2027 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. The remake features an updated visual style and runs on Capcom's RE Engine. Claire Redfield is the main protagonist, and the game is set to begin in Paris before moving to Rockfort Island. The remake was revealed at Summer Game Fest 2026, and it follows the events of Resident Evil 2 and 3.
