Apple tightens rules against low-value apps

Apple updated App Store Review Guidelines section 4.3(b) to ban apps that are indistinguishable from widely available ones. The rule targets mediocre, low-quality, or low-effort submissions. Apple processes 90% of submissions within 48 hours and over 200,000 apps weekly, with an average review time of 1.5 days.
