Microsoft is testing a disc-to-digital feature for Xbox One and Xbox Series X that lets users digitize physical game collections. Inserting a compatible disc grants a digital entitlement tied to that specific disc, which moves between accounts when the disc is swapped. The feature does not support Xbox 360 or original Xbox discs.
