PRC spies hid in medical networks for over a year

Google tracked a PRC-linked espionage crew, UNC6508, that remained hidden in North American medical and military networks for over a year. The spies deployed custom malware, snooped through Gmail inboxes, and searched for drone technology and the Chikungunya pathogen. The campaign targeted defense companies and medical research facilities.
