OpenAI bans pro-Russia ChatGPT accounts

OpenAI banned a cluster of ChatGPT accounts tied to a pro-Russia influence operation promoting the Israel-based International Burke Institute. The think tank misattributed 34 of 36 academic articles to real researchers, including Noam Chomsky and Francis Fukuyama, and used VPNs to bypass restrictions.
